- Apply your chosen weights to the machine
- Stand on the machine's platform with your feet shoulder-width apart
- Place your shoulders below the padded supports and bend your knees slightly
- Firmly grip the machine's handles with both hands
- Start the exercise by standing up with the weight
- Pull out the handle that's holding the weight up
- Bend your knees and proceed to a squatting position
- Drive your feet into the platform to return to the starting upright position
- Repeat for your desired number of reps
